![]() Swatches: Overall Rating: I am fairly satisfied with these Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Concealers so I’m awarding it 7/10 stars. I tried it with a damp beauty sponge, which gives me some extra moisture, but keeps the coverage very light. Application: My preferred method of application is with my Real Techniques Contour Brush, which builds up the coverage to medium. I picked up the shades C10, for medium skin tones with a golden undertone and C12, for medium/dark skin tones with a neutral undertone, and they both fit me well. I also like that they provide a description of the shade and undertones correlating to the shade number online, making it easier to narrow down your perfect match. Shade Range: There are 18 shades available on the Makeup Revolution and Ulta website, which is impressive. It stayed on pretty well and matte by the end of the night. In terms of longevity, I was impressed with its staying power after it has been set with a light powder. This concealer dries down quickly and to a matte finish so I make sure to blend it in quickly and to moisturize well before application. Even though I applied two full layers, I can still see dark circles and the birthmark under my right eye (the bane of my existence). While this concealer has a thicker consistency, the coverage is light to medium, not full. I returned it shortly so I can’t provide a side by side comparison between the two now, but I don’t believe this is a dupe. Formula: I tried Tarte’s Shape Tape Concealer when it first came out years ago and I think I’m the only person who doesn’t like it □ I found it very drying and emphasized texture and bumps under my eyes I didn’t think I have. This has the same big doe foot applicator, which works great for quickly spreading on concealer. ![]() At a third of the size, you would run out of product a lot quicker. For example, the Tarte Shape Tape has 0.33 oz of product while this Makeup Revolution Concealer has only 0.11 oz. The bottle is a shorter and fatter than the Tarte Shape Tape, but has less product in it than it appears. ![]() Price: $7, 0.11 oz ( ) Packaging: The rose gold packaging is super cute. Our large doe foot applicator allows for smooth application that won’t drag on the delicate skin under your eyes ( ). Long wearing intense pigment that can also be used to contour and add definition. Lightweight yet full coverage concealer to cover blemishes, even skin tone and counteract dark circles, with a matte finish that won’t settle or accentuate fine lines and pores. 18 shades ranging from fair to deep, in cool, neutral and warm undertones. Hi, dolls! Today, I’m bringing you a review of the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Full Coverage Conceal and Contour Concealers! Yes, that is its entire name, right there on the tube □ There was a lot of hype that these were dupes for the cult fave Tarte Shape Tape Concealers so I ordered these in an Ulta Haul to find out.
